This policy explains how ScriptInk handles information in its mobile app and on scriptink.app. For privacy questions or requests, contact scriptinkapp@gmail.com.
Your study data
Your highlights, drawings, handwritten notes, and reading place are saved on the device where they were created. ScriptInk uses this locally stored information to preserve your study work when you return to the app. Cloud sync is not currently available.
ScriptInk does not sell personal study data.
Data retention and deletion
Your study data remains in local app storage until you remove it. You can remove it using your device’s app-data controls or by deleting ScriptInk and its data. Device backups, if enabled, are managed separately through your device or backup provider.
To request deletion of information you have sent to ScriptInk support, email scriptinkapp@gmail.com.
When you contact us
If you email ScriptInk, we receive your email address, your message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to answer your question and handle follow-up support. Correspondence is stored in our support mailbox until deleted. Please include only the information needed for your request.
Website analytics and advertising
This website uses the Meta Pixel to measure visits and improve advertising. The pixel can send Meta information about pages you visit, your IP address, browser details, and cookie identifiers. This website tracking is separate from the study data stored in the ScriptInk app.
Meta handles this information under its Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and review advertising controls in your Meta account. Meta’s policy describes its retention practices.
App-store purchases
If you make a purchase through an app store, the store processes the transaction and handles payment information under its own privacy policy. See the policies for Apple and Google for details.
Keeping your information secure
Locally stored study data relies on your device’s security protections. Keep your device up to date and use a passcode or screen lock. The ScriptInk website is served over HTTPS.
Changes to this policy
When ScriptInk’s privacy practices change, we will update this page and the date above.
